Success will depend on the ability to adapt sourcing in real time, replacing static forecasts with dynamic, signal-driven models that respond to shifting supply and demand. Supplier diversification will evolve into a form of risk engineering, strengthening continuity rather than simply optimizing cost. 

 

Independent distributors will play an increasingly critical role, providing access, quality, flexibility and speed that many cannot secure on their own, enabling supply chains to remain resilient even in a constrained and rapidly evolving market.
