Protecting critical components against overcurrent

Bourns has boosted its POWrFuse high-power fuse product family with the PF-000100E, PF-01N100E and PF-1NH100E series. These industrial fuse links are designed to comply with UL 248-13 (aR Class), IEC 60269-4 (aR Class) and IEC 60269-7 (battery storage systems) standards. The series protects semiconductor (aR Class) and battery (aBat) applications by safeguarding critical components against overcurrent conditions.

Design features and key capabilities include high rated current capacity supporting rated current from 2 to 11 A depending on impedance value, enabling use in high current power paths. Low DC resistance, as low as 0.0025 ohm, minimizes power loss and temperature rise at rated current

Wide impedance values from 30 to 1000 ohms at 100 MHz provide flexibility for targeted EMI suppression, while a compact, low-profile package (3.2 by 1.6 by 1.1 mm) supports high density PCB layouts.

Operating temperature range is –55 to 125°C (including temperature rise at rated current).
